Butt hinges

Hi,

Can anyone recommend some good quality stainless steel cabinet butt hinges? They are to be used on 19mm frame (kitchen) so I assume they will need to be around 63mm x 38mm. I have purchased a few hinges of this size in the past but they always seem low quality with poor movement. Ideally I would like ball baring hinges but i don’t believe they are available in this size. A few of the doors I will be hanging are quite large around 85ishcm x 65cm so I’m also a little worried about the weight. Do you think I should consider increasing the frame to 27mm to allow for larger hinges?

Locksonline.com seem to have the best choice, and have excellent customer service. Some stuff I ordered from them was lost in the post and they sent a replacement immediately, no quibbles.

Ironmongery Direct are also good.

Others can advise you better on the sizing. There are pro kitchen cabinet makers here.
