Any recommendations for a brushable primer/filler(high build?) paint for woodwork? Many year ago, I used to spray giant washing machines, and we used a pruduct that would make a swiss-cheese look smooth, but I struggle to find anything to brush.

No, I haven't. Although I did use Zinsser-something some years ago when painting some kitchen unit doors.
ANyway, from reading about BIN on the web, it sounds like it has excellent adhesion and stain-blocking characteristics, but is descibed as "very thin", so I don't think it's what I'm looking for.
