Just thought I would post this in case anyone was interested.
I bought three of these adapters from eBay, at a cost of £5.50 for lot.
I've been looking for an adapter to put a standard drill chuck (1/2"-20 UNF) on the end of my brace to use normal drill bits.
So far so good, seems to be reasonably central and I've drilled a few holes in softwood with it.
The square shank is 9.48mm wide and 12mm across the diagonals.
