about 6" the top bracket has to fit in the gap

Next 2 bits of 4” x 2” (i have used half round this time) 12 ½ inches long 58 degree angle at the top

Now 2 pieces of 4” x 1 ¼ “ 16 ½ inches long angle about 28 to match top of upright

then nail together use 3 nails

0verlap if not using slate. 6” x 18” feather edge

Been making them for a long time very little profit in it with the cost off the wood

I was down my local pet store in Swansea this week and they were going for £50 and all soft wood timber the thickest being a 2x 2 yours are made to last and better quality
