I just finished painting the roof and the railing
I used a green paint on the roof called hosta leaf , it is like a olive color.

I think that's superb... and probably bigger than my house. You certainly make the birds very happy I really like your birdhouses as they're totally different from the norm.

Where do you find your inspiration for the birdhouses you build? I reckon there muse be an un-tapped market for building replicas of famous buildings (buckingham palace, windsor castle. the white house, the pentagon etc) as bird houses... Anyway.. whatever.. I like the niche you seem to have found

I get a lot of my ideas looking at old buildings, churches and hotels .
I do get customers that ask for one built to look like their home or cottage.
I just got a order to build 10 more for 1 customer in the states.

What a fantastic looking bird house - you obviously have upmarket birds in your part of the world

In your third picture there is a dog behind behind the birdhouse and I noticed in your second picture a building to the rear left - could this possibly be the home for the dog ?

I was building a garden shed but then i got a little carried away so i am going to put my big screen tv and a couch in there in the summer time.
It has a great view from every angle.
It has 6 roofs, 12 hips , 8 valleys and 15 windows.
