Can anyone recommend a decent band saw with a smallish footprint?

Looking for something powerful with a good depth of cut that doesn't take up a lot of room in the single car garage workshop.

Been eyeing up a Laguna 14BX. Looks a very nice machine with a price tag to match though. Wondered what other options are about, even in the second hand market.

A record power bs400 looks pretty good for the money. 2hp and 305mm depth of cut. A holzmann hbs470 looks very similar but I have never seen a review of one. Anyone got one ?

The Hammer N4400 has a really small footprint for its capabilities plus nearly a 4 metre long blade which is fairly unbelievable considering its height.

Second the Hammer N4400 and with a decent sized motor for the depth of cut. Have mine in a single car garage and table extensions help with longer rips

Laguna fan here, I just upgraded from a bs400 to a 18bx which is bigger but given the build quality I’d not hesitate to buy a 14bx
