I'm after a wirebrush that can take a beating, I used to have an very very very old russian one however I misplaced it somewhere years ago and I'm yet to buy something as good as it.
The stuff nowadays is made from such junk that it doesn't lasts more than few minutes, my record must be probably 2-3sec for a wirebrush I bought at homebargains before it was rendered useless.

Don't care about the price, but I need something where the bristles will last for years not minutes -need it for just general stuff, scraping off paint/rust from metal and whatever other tasks a good wirebrush should be for.
Please don't just paste a random link, I'm looking for something which you have used yourself and can rate it.
Thanks.

Get a cheap one - just as good as the expensive ones. Probably all made in the same factory anyway. :D

I have gone that route... The cheap ones I have bought certainly were utter junk. I'm happy to pay more for a good one as it's a tool you use quite often.
They don't make them like they used to do for sure...Back in the day there were no such thing as planned obsolescence or it wasn't as widespread.
