Bandsaw weight dewalt bs1310

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and hoping to begin a new hobby of woodworking, having dabbled a little bit in the past. I've just brought a dewalt bs1310 bandsaw off ebay and I am off to pick it up tomorrow, so I was wondering if anybody knew the approx weight? Just so when I arrive I know whether I'll be OK carrying it quickly to the car, or whether I'll need to bring a trolley, the lady on the phone sounded a bit older so didn't want to assume there will be somebody there to help .

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure of the weight, but I had the 1340 and it's similar. Easy enough to lift into the car boot on your own. You shouldnt need a trolly, but depends if you are used to carrying a reasonable weight briefly.

Nice smaller bandsaw and sometimes regretted selling mine but needad a bigger one and went for the Record BS400

I've got a BS1310 and it's not too heavy to lift. Mostly aluminium. You should be OK.
