Just looking for a couple of ideas for a simple bandsaw jig for cutting 45 degree angles. I've got a couple of jobs that I'm planning at the minute and they both could do with a jig for cutting the mitres. One will be along a 150mm edge of a piece of 9mm hardwood.

I will buy myself a set of Steve's dvd's when I have the cash to spare but for now I'm looking for ideas on a simple jig to get me through these couple of small projects....

Ideas (and maybe pictures  ) would be gratefully appreciated 8)

Thanks
Paul

Is there any reason it has to be on a bandsaw? I guess you dont have a tilting table?

I don't know what others do but I just clamped a straight edge onto
the table and got very good results when making the cabinet for
around the sink on the right
