I have an old Burges band saw, fully working but i would like to replace the small round bit that go's around the blade.
The old one just pops out and is made of plastic.
I will try to discribe it, about one inch round with a slot for the blade to run through, and also has a small cut out on the side.
Can you buy these?

It is called the throat plate and they should really be regarded as disposable. They do get chewed up, especially when cutting curves, as the blade gets twisted.

I'm not aware of a supplier, I fear you will have to make your own. Mine are square and so are easy to make out of MDF. For round ones you will either have to turn them, or rig up a little router jig.

I doubt that you could buy them but the Burgess part is really not hard to make. I've made mine from scraps of Perspex - an old number plate is a good free source. Draw a circle 1.5 inches diameter and cut it out with a coping saw or junior hacksaw, or the bandsaw itself on slow speed. Round it off with a file or coarse sandpaper. Saw a slit up to the centre and a locating notch to one side. If you sneak up on the sizing you can use a slight springiness across the cut to hold it in place.
