I have had to replace the drive belt on my Axminster hobby lathe, not sure what to do so i contacted their tech guys and theyu came back with this answer.
Slacken and remove the drive belt.
Unscrew the Allen grub screw part No 24 in the middle of the head stock pulley.
Unscrew the two Allen grub screw part No 26 in the head stock hand wheel.
Unscrew the hand wheel part No 22 off the shaft (THIS IS A LEFT HAND THREAD.)
Tap the main spindle out with a soft mallet towards the centre of the lathe.
Remove the old belt and re-fit the new one. Make sure you keep the pulley the right way around.
Re-assemble in the reverse of how it was dismantled.
