Oooh dear. Just received my (well, it's technically mine, but it's going back) Axminster Portable Panel Saw System. In the usual fit of order-bloating (I was initially just buying an impact driver) I decided to get the kit that includes Axminster's circular saw. What a turkey!
* The saw blade is way out of alignment with the base, which is riveted on, so no adjustments possible it seems.
* The riving knife isn't in line with the saw blade (this could maybe be adjusted)
* And the blade guard waggles all over the place and is wont to catch on the saw blade itself. Not ideal!
If this one is representative, I'd say: don't buy this saw.
