I am guessing these two saws are the same. What I am looking for is maximum ripping width without the table extension? My workshop is a little narrow and saving space would be a bonus. Cheers

Whether you have the extension table or not the bars upon which the fence runs are the same length. I have got the 12" version of the 01332 and the fence can be slid out to just over four feet.

If it helps from blade to edge of saw table (no extensions) is 34mm. To cut that you will need overhang on the two rails the fence uses so would need to allow 49cm from blade to edge of machine.

EDIT: if you didn't over hang the fence rails you would only achieve a rip of 18.6cm max when using fence.

The difference between Axi and sip is just the sticker (from what I can tell). I went with Axi as it was cheaper for the full kit (slider and tables)
