Hello,

Regarding the belt adjustment, does anyone else have a witness mark under the motor mounting plate ?

Yesterday when looking at the adjustment ( which is really bad ) I noticed a mark drawn underneath, is this where the motor should be sitting when the belt is fitted, or am I missing something?

It runs fine but when viewing the belt it seems a little slack? although on another post, owners have not bothered adjusting it to the set distance and had no problems...........perhaps I'm being over cautious

Also, do both drive pulleys have a key steel in ? I only have one in the motor pulley?

If the machine works fine and doesn't struggle under load then, I'd suggest you leave it alone! :wink:

You're probably looking for approximately 12mm/½in. deflection... I think Chems has one of these machines - perhaps he'll be able to check?
