Another ash bowl, this was the biggest thing I've turned at 10". I've made a few ash bowls, but this one was noticeably harder and I was continually chasing tear out (can be seen at about the 11 o clock position). Eventually, I just admitted it was the best I could. Still reasonably happy with it.
I then made an apple...and then another....
The centre one was my first attempt. I convienantly failed to noticed all the radial scratches around the top before parting it off
. I did make a jam chuck to finish the bottoms, so I guess that'll either be jam chucked or chucked in the bin and replaced.
