Just finishing off a couple of door frames and have hit a slight problem with the fitting of the architrave.
The new architrave is wider than the original plain one and is profiled.
The problem I have is at the top of the doorframes the new architrave is overhanging the glazed section at the top by about 5mm and 10mm on the other frame. I have already fitted and primed the frames and replaced the glass. Ideally I don't want to remove the trim and glass then pack the apertures out as my other half would be less than happy.
Any suggested workarounds from you all would be appreciated!!
