Morning, thinking about a small spray system, at the moment it's all about money and space, havent got a lot of items to spray, will have a small batch of doors 700x 250mm and other carcase frames, will be spraying paint and lacquer, so if anyone has opinion or experience of this type of system I'm all ears, many thanks

I have an older version of the same machine. It is excellent. It takes a while to get to know it, spraying is a skill, but the machine is plenty powerful enough and the gun is good quality.
I've not used mine very much, but that's because I never found a very satisfactory way of creating a booth.
I doubt if you will be disappointed with the machine itself.

I have the exact machine you link to and have been very pleased with it.

It was used in the project in the attached thread; http://www.woodworkuk.co.uk/forum/viewt ... f=9&t=6496

Theres some comments in the thread on spray techniques that you may find helpful.

The only negative thing I can see with the gun is that its relatively noisy, other than that I am more than happy with it. The gun is a non-bleed (i.e. the air stops coming out when you let go the trigger) which I would say you definitely want - the cheaper ones do not do this.

If you have any more specific questions about the kit I'll be happy to try and answer them.

cheers for the replies, the one job I had lined up to spray has now become a natural finish [osmo wood wax] which will be hand finished, so I haven't got the expense at the moment, But it's only posponed for a little while.
