...could measure the hose outlet for me, please? I think it is a screw thread....and hoping that the pitch is 6-7mm and that the external diameter across the threads is 67mm. It's just that the hose on my Travis Perkins vacuum is on its last legs and the Henry hose looks as if it will fit.

TIA

Mine's not a screw thread, it's a push in and turn type with 2 slots in the hose connector that locate against pins in the body.

not so fast Roger...we have a henry at work and have it in my hand - screw thread - external dia 69mm / internal 59mm. no idea how to tell thread pitch - let me know and i'll see.

I've got two, one is several year old, it's badged Axminster White and it's 59mm across the male threads on the vac body.

One is only 6 months old and is 59mm too. The new hoses are 700mm shorter than the old ones.

I measured the pitch as the distance between the top of two adjacent threads

I'm with Lord K on this. We have two, one 6+ years old and another 3+ years old, and both are 59mm across the male threads. The pitch as described above is 6-7mm and the connector takes one complete turn to travel 13 mm.

I notice on the TP website that they currently stock a Numatic vacuum cleaner in the colours of a Henry but not named as such. If your vacuum has a Numatic badge on it or, if not, a Made in Britain badge (which almost certainly means that it's a Numatic) you could always ring Numatic in Chard and ask where you can get a spare hose from.

Is that 59mm across the bottom of the threads or across the tops?

Roger.

It may be worth having a look on this site, they got me out of a hole, with carbon brushes.

I have no connection with this supplier, other than a very satisfied customer. =D>

Take care.

It’s 59mm across the top of the threads. However, looking at the cleaner shown on the TP website

http://www.travisperkins.co.uk/p/numati ... 96/3893583

they say it’s a Henry but, looking at the Numatic website, it looks more like one of Numatic’s PPR professional models which may have a different hose attachment to the Henry - see

Ah. I see why mine is different now, and my James too. Both of mine are about 7 years old and they've changed the fitting (and model numbers) since.

Strange that mine has a twist-lock fitting :? Although mine is the heavy duty version.

Are you sure yours is a Henry ?

I've got two and both are screw on as others have described

Yep, it's the HD one with the bumper around it.

Not seen one of those I thought there was only one type of Henry. Would have thought they'd give it a different name

Well I took a £6.49 punt on eBay amd bought a replacement Henry hose. Would anyone like it? :(

This is the vacuum I am trying to source a hose for. I can't find any other information or manufacturer's markings to suggest where Travis Perkins sourced it from., It has disappeared from off their website. This is what it looks like and maybe someone might recognise it?

I had a quick look at the spares website recommended but there are 128 pages (at least!) when i search on 'hose' with precious little in the way of information.

TIA
