I currently use the Morrells precat primer and although I think it's great simply due to the drying time, I wondered what other thought of using their water based primer?

What kind of drying time are we looking at compared?

Any other things to consider?

I am using it on MR MDF

I then use the 2pac top coat for finishing.

Cheers

I haven't yet used it, so can't answer your query directly but if you search the forum you'll find several people speak highly of Morrells w/b primer coded 8005/641. I was speaking with Morrells tech dept yesterday and they also recommended their (newer) w/b primer 8005/501 which is designed to accept solvent or w/b top coats.

See: Morrells web site
