Any idea what machine it originally fitted?

Yes I can see it's off a router/shaper/moulder table of some sort. One sprung metal strip holds the wood down and the other holds it into the cutter. At two and half kilos it's' quite hefty and strongly made. BUT what machine did it fit?

The colour is the same as my Lurem, but I don't recognise it as Lurem kit.
Looks very useful to anyone with spindle moulder or even a bit router table.

It looks like the Shaw-Guard for a Startrite TA sawbench
The version I use has beech pressure pads which completely cover the blade
have a look at figure 7 on HSE WIS16
