Bought a boxful of miscellaneous bits and pieces from the car-boot and this was in it.

Any idea what machine it originally fitted?

Yes I can see it's off a router/shaper/moulder table of some sort. One sprung metal strip holds the wood down and the other holds it into the cutter. At two and half kilos it's' quite hefty and strongly made. BUT what machine did it fit?

That's just the kind of thing which is missing from my Sedgwick spindle moulder. If you feel like parting with it PM me.

Cheers

Karl

Hi Roger
It looks like the Shaw-Guard for a Startrite TA sawbench
The version I use has beech pressure pads which completely cover the blade
have a look at figure 7 on HSE WIS16

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions - I know a lot more about it than when I started :)
