Anyone got the Rutlands cheap 100mm DE?

As above. Mine just arrived, seems pretty solid for the price. After a second or two or running though it starts to develop a bit of a droning noise (separate to motor noise), is that normal?

Do you mean the Heavy Duty Chip and Dust Collector - 550 Watt - DK7108 or the High Filtration Dust Collector - 50 Litre - DK7109? They have different types of motor, so it'll help to know which one it is.

It's the 7109.
I should say, when under load it seems quieter, maybe with no load the motor is overrunning?

It does seem to be a pretty good little bit of kit, it has plenty of suction and it doing a good job on my table saw.
