Keith Smith Established Member Joined 1 Mar 2004 Messages 511 Reaction score 1 Location Out in the sticks in rural Shropshire 7 Dec 2006 #4 It's to allow you to set the saw in exactly the same position on the rail, the saw is held by two clamps, either of these will fit into the clip. It's used if you are doing repeated cuts and using the stops on the supports. Keith
