Anyone going to the Festool Demo Day at Axminster Skill Centre, Devon. There are some new tools being released in the next couple of months which will be demo'd and I am keen to see, in particular the H.K85 which is a portable circular saw which accepts a grooving cutter block which allows the machine to cut variable spaced dados.

I went to the last one of these in June and it really was a very good day and well worth the nominal fee charged particularly bearing in mind that a light lunch was supplied too.

I'm tempted - I went last year and enjoyed it. But imagine it'll be mostly repetition. Can't justify it just for the lunch (or maybe I can!)

One thing I hadn't realised when I went was that it's not in the same place as the shop - so didn't get a chance to buy anything .
