I saw this guy (or his brother?) when on holiday in Marrakech about three years ago - great stuff, but the wood is not well seasoned and his stuff is unlikely to last well. :(

My trouble is that my lathe is positioned so that the centre is at about elbow height as I stand next to it. At my age I'm afraid I struggle to get my feet that far off the ground to hold the tool adequately as per the video :shock: , so I think I will stick to the more conventional approach of using two hands and an electric powered lathe!! :lol: :lol:
 
If we were to try that I certainly think it would be:

Hands
feet
toes
& oops a daisy, there goes my toes!!!
