AS my beloved half-inched my Elm burr pen, I had another rummage in the odds box,and came up with a piece of Zebrano. Here`s the result. This pen making is getting addictive. :D  :D

Your attachments won`t open on my PC, though I can see them on the iPad- but too small to really see what`s going on. Maybe the reason you haven`t had much comment?

Preparing Blank and gluing 5 mins, Turning 10 mins, assembly 3mins.

Or just about any other numbers you care to insert, so many variables dependant upon wood choice, adhesive, tooling available.

Ive not turned a pen yet. How long does one take...start to finish?

Takes me about 3 hours from start to finish. But normally leave glue to set for 24 hours ..... its a bit disconcerting when your using the barrel trimmer to try and get the wood flush with the barrel. Feels like its taking an age, then you realise the brass tube has come unstuck and all your doing is milling the wood and pushing the tube out the other side :(

From what I can see, looks like a nice pen by the way

Sorry the pic is so small, having a spot of bother with the computer.
Thanks CHJ for the help.
