I'm trying to find square brackets to hold 2 x 2 in timbers in place under a workbench, so that they can be pulled out to support a shelf. Shaped like fence post brackets. I have searched the net, but cannot seem to find them, so can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Alex i have replied in your other thread with a different size. One other option if you have a metal vice? Make your own, get some steel strips and bend them in the vice yourself. :)

Thanks Carl, but still looking for the brackets that will screw under the workbench to allow a couple of timbers to be pulled out to support the 'well' shelf.

Anyone else please ....... like a wall bracket or gutter bracket type (square about 2 x 2 or 2 x 3, but 4 x 4 is too big.

If I remember correctly Alex they are called 'top hat ' brackets, good hardware suppliers should stock them.
