Hi everyone, i am cutting business card sized 1.5 mm plywood, and i wondered if there was an alternative to this, i have tried s 1.5 mm cherry veneer but it was so brittle it snapped too easily.

i am hoping for something with the durability ply but maybe a better quality finish?

can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks
:D

Have you considered laminating 3 sheets of veneer together with the centre piece at 90 degrees to the others? I used to make dollhouse furniture and thats how I would get strong very thin sheets.

What type of ply are you using. Finnish Birch aeroply has high grade veneers and no defect patches
