Cracking little documentary about the production of linoleum in the Sixties.
Was it always that bright and happy back then or did I have my screen brightness too high?
There is a reason for me to be stumbling around in this topic as I have recently purchased some linoleum print block makers V file/saws? and thought this film may show them in use. We are in the right place but I didn't see any.
Anyway.......

Brilliant... Kirkcaldy is the place that Billy Connolly said they were going to call ''What's That F***ing Smell'', because that was the first thing people said when they got there. :-D

Hey Naz, Dinnae mess wae the "Lang Toon" Mind you it is long so you could get away from Nairns. That end of town is now all swanky flats and not working class at all anymore. Sign of the times I suppose. Do still remember the smell and not got over having a need that all kitchen floors must be made of proper "lino". dinnae understand these degenerates that use vynl pah

And strangely had this very discussion witht he other half today about the kitchen floor and having a dribly dog

If you change the last 4 numbers of the web address to something else at random you get an interesting assortment of other films.

No 3500 is of a gathering in 1946. Pole vaulting with no crash mats, just the grass. They were tough in those days.
