Hey all
So in my small workshop it gets really dusty quite quickly - This is mostly due to the fact that I don't really have a dust collection system but rather just attach a Henry vac to each tool as I need it. This works for me as it's not a fully dedicated woodworking workshop, and we need to be able to move things around continously.
But if I am doing any routing or sawing the whole place gets so dusty I need to wear a respirator and that's just annoying after a while.
Looking around on Youtube I found plenty of people that just stick an AC filter over a fan. I made something similar, just used a HEPA vacuum bag (the Henry ones) as filter, both in and out. It sort of works but hey it's not great. I've seen Axminster and others sell those dedicated air filtration systems but they seem outrageously expensive for what they are, and probably overkill for my small workshop.
Has anyone used any of those air purifiers meant for homes? Like the ones they sell on Amazon, Argos etc with interchangeable filters? They definitely come a lot cheaper than the JET ones.
Anyone have any ideas? Should I just make more fan boxes and place them strategically all over the shop?
Cheers
