Hi
I'm new here so I'll introduce myself briefly.
I'm a maker of puppets (i wouldn't call myself a puppet master as this makes people thinking of the traditional wooden puppets/string marionettes. I do like those a lot but I am more on the contemporary puppetry side...
Anyhow I got no specialist skills but 2 hands that can make things. I'm slowly getting geared up with tools so they are happy.
This project here is a job that I've taken up to help a friend out but now Im not sure I should really have...
I have little time to complete it and experience with this type of things. I have done some carpentry as a trainee in the (far away) past. Stayed with me the love of using saw and chisel. I'm taking this project as a (re)start at woodworking cause I do like it a lot.
However it's prooving to be a challenge..
I have done plans etc but I welcome all and any ideas, advices, thoughts etc from this community of woodworkers and makers about how they'd go about it.
Gonna try to add photos so it's clear what I have to make. This is what I have to make it alike with tables' dimensions) as it goes on 2 type of tables.
This display is made of 3 panels (none at the back).
The panels slide in (side into front I figured) and are held by hooks going accross the table's legs.
The panels have to be flush with the table's edges.
I thought I could get mouldings like those as it looks like balustrades but I couldn't so
I'm currently looking for routing services in London (south London better but not essential) if anyone knows of one.
Thanks for reading, looking forward to yr replies..
back on the planning now...
