Hi All,
Due to an increase in client enquiries for decking made from wood plastic composite WPC I have started to investigate this composite decking that's being sold. My questions is: Do I need any specialist tools to work with wood composite?

Any suggestions/help appreciated.

Regards.

I don't want to sound blunt, but wouldn't you be better off asking the manufacturer of the composites about it rather than a (mostly) hobby woodworking forum? My first port of call would've been to talk to some company representative.

I put on some cladding out of wood composite and it cut fine with a regular chop saw, I think you can get special blades that improve the cut quality though if you want really clean angles for your decking.

Many moons ago, I used to work for a plastics manufacturer. Cellular and composites were cut on production line with diamond blades for longevity as the resin component blunts blades.
