Hi all
I have a worsharp 3000 for honing my plane and chisel blades. the papers don't last all that long so

my question is could I add diamond paste to the old worn out paper disks or would this rip them up?

I have thought of making MDF disks instead would that be better?
I did hear that the diamonds might bury themselves into the MDF and be useless?

any other thoughts ?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to make your own discs from sheets of ali oxide paper ?

Yes I have thought of that but was just interested in using diamond paste and the proper way to use it.

I think the answer is:
Try it and see and please let us know!
:)
