Well after resolving the issues with the carcass i had a productive day finishing it off...
So buoyed by this i thought I'd start boring the hinge holes in the bought in doors so I could deliver those as well but then guess what?
As the first door is different to the other 6 I decided to drill it by hand which for the first two holes went fine but on the third hole, the drill bit in deep without warning and put a lovely little dimple in the gloss white face side of the door!!!
I attempted to fix it but it's quite obvious so I've had to bite the bullet and order the replacement door at a cost of £90!!!
Suffice to say, learn from my stupidity and don't do it by hand. Take your time to set the router up (or pillar drill) and do it safely without risk of mistakes. Lesson learned for me
Time for a vodka I think
