As always, I get confused. Axminster 300121 as in the link from Brian, but FBS 240/E at £59.96 in the link from marcos. Don't know what the Foredom costs, but I also have doubts about Dremel with all the bad reports, but could do with something like this soon.

I have a Dremel, does OK for me but my friend has the Proxxon and I'll be looking at that first before I get another Dremel, Proxxon, It does seem well made.

I have the same one, and I agree on its quality, but the box is rubbish ;-)

Please, Proxxon can we have a Systainer or something similar. I threw mine away as I couldn't get the cable back in the box with a plug on it.

Don't know what the Foredom costs,

They are pricey but I bought my one second hand earlier this year for £120. I had to fork out another £30 for the hand piece but has transformed my wood carvings as a result. My TX motor has 3/4 of a horse power I think so gets rid of waste quite quickly. I think you can buy pretty much all the spare parts for it when things do start to go wrong but the shipping from the states is the killer I should add.

if the proxxon doesnt fit, and I think it will, then it will get used for something else. £12 delivered didnt seem bad at all.
