1360 sip Lathe

I am thinking of purchasing this lathe as my chuck will fit and it has 10 speeds.
Is it a good Lathe for the money?

Looks the same as the Perform CCL - which is slightly cheaper,bigger motor,and I have found Axminsters aftersales service excellent (not saying toolsnstuff isn't also - I just have no experience of them)

I doubt it would be no better or worse than several clones of this model.

The Axminster Perform version is cheaper and has a more powerful motor but may have a few more warts on the castings.

Where as the Axminster White versionhas the same power but is more expensive.

I have that lathe and have done some big turnings on it, the motor maybe slightly under powered but if carefull its alright, the outrigger set up needs a post to steady it, I could email you pictures of what I've done also the modification I made to the outboard turning gear, otherwise its good value for money
