    i also get this on my jet jpt-260 - really looking forward to you finding a solution my infeed/outfeed table appear parallel and the outfeed table is slightly lower than the planer blades at the highest point. i have several tapered boards now...................

    can you recommend a belt sander ?

    you can get a festool bs 75e for about £200 if you don't go for the systainer, etc (think mine was £210) it is way better than the dewalt it replaced - DW433 only 75mm though not 100mm as requested

    More on the Jet 310P/T

    mine was fine with a 16 amp breaker to start with and now it keeps tripping (in winter) i have tried a type c breaker - still trips though! jet have sent me a replacement motor to try - could this just be damp, pretty damp garage? don't want to change the motor if it's damp... sorry for the...

    i had the same problem on my 260, called Jet (Brimarc) and they sent me instructions - you need to take the cover of, etc.... i have the e-mail at work if you need it, will be monday though i've not bothered yet............

    End grain flooring

    we have used it in our new office (architects) in the restaurant. the block sizes are aprox 35mm x 75mm - they come linked together and you lay a strip of about 9, bonded down to ply with special adhesive. then the joints are filled and sanded. we have approx 300 sq mt of it - so it can be done...

    i used to bed my glass/mirror on clear silicone, however be prepared to spend ages cleaning of the silicone! i don't anymore.....

    looks good. i wouldn't use varnish though? i finished mine with Liberon finishing oil which gives a nice satin finish (subject to number of coats) and is easily re-finished let me know if you need any further information. you can check what the finish looks like by looking at my photos

    yes, still lurking. yes, i glued the two sides and top up first and then sanded these flat and then glued together to make the table. make sure you have decent clamps to ensure you can pull the joints together. yes, random orbital sander. they do come in really useful if you are not a master...
