    Record Power TSPP250

I can't quite get my blade to 45 degrees, its about half a degree short. Very annoying. A simple adjustment I'm sure, but My manual is incomplete and Record Power can't help. I've loosed anything that looks as if it may be a 'stop' but to no avail. Anybody have a manual or remember how to make...

    Bandsaw dsaw guides

I have a Blundell SWB4300, a generic design exactly the same as the current Axminster SWB 4300B. My blade guides are solid metal (hope the pic link works), unlike the Axi which has bearings. The fitments are exactly the same however, so I thought I'd 'upgrade' to the Axi guide system. However...

Which bandsaw cool blocks and where from

I have a Blundell SBW 4300 (looks same as Axminster SBW 4300). I'm having problems with the blades twisting badly and my next attempt at remedy is new cool blocks. The current ones are circular and I cannot find anything similar. Suggestions please?

    Thicknesser blade sharpening

Just bought a Record Power RD26 (made by Lurem). Mint condition, really exceptional, but the blades need sharpening. Have struggled to find replacements so seems sharpening is my only option. Can anyone please suggest a reliable company / individual I could send them to? Many thanks.

E size prints for making templates

I need to get a chair plan I've downloaded printed out in size 'E' (1118mm x 864mm). Went to Staples and they'd never heard of 'E' sizes (!). Found a printer who wanted £64 to print it on plain paper so he can whistle..... Can anybody suggest a cost effective way to do this, its a PDF so I can...

    Building a chunky arbour....

Advice please. I'm going to build a nice chunky Arbour for the garden, so 150mm sq frame seems a good size, especially as I have 4x 12' posts looking for a useful existance! Obviously these are a rough finish so would like to pass these through a planer thicknesser (in 6 foot lengths) to smooth...

Why would I use a sliding table? Or a pull saw?

Newbie question I know but I have a sliding table on a little Makita MLT100 and for the life of me I cannot fathom what it is for. Also just acquired a rather knackered Record Power TSPP250. It has the facility to 'pull' the blade approx 8 inches......again, why would I need to do this...
