hi I'm after a thread adaptor for my tyme avon lathe the spindle is 25mm x 2mm pitch the chuck i have is an axminster which has a 1"x 8tpi thread. So having no look and axminster do not do one many thanks Paul

Just got my first lathe Tyme Avon but has no chuck with so many chucks on the market how do you chose one?I know will probably have to bye a thread adaptor has it has a25 mm x2mm spindle any help would be grateful.Also after a 25mm tap to make wooden face plates. Many thanks Paul

was using my saw when the blade snaped so i thought. :cry: it turned out the tension knob had sheard off. :twisted: Managed to repair with resin glue which worked :idea: , but when came to resquare blade found it twisted. and did not line up. Managed to square table to blade but its about 5...

i go there once a month has there have been a lot of demos from guest turners,so not had chance to do much turning.But am picking up some basic tips. thank you every one.

My first scroll saw project I made 2 of these. For nieces who both got engaged they loved them. Made from pine with a dark stain and a danish oil finish. I made the heart 2 different finishes to symbolise two hearts coming together has one.
