Evening, I've used my rails fairly regularly for 2 years and have never thought about any lubrication. Before putting them away, I clean the tracks on the rails and underside of saw and always been fine. BTW, what makes you think you need lubrication? Colin

LeeElms, Cutting it won't be a problem, I have access to a bandsaw set up for re-cutting. It has a capacity of 30inches I think it is - should be enough! However, I think a good coat of looking at, will be the first approach. Colin
