hello, has any one had a bash at making a camping pod? i was thinking of making one.it seems pretty straight foward (hammer) but i am not sure how the arch shape is made when making the frame. can anyone help?

hi, as anyone made there own bandsaw guides? i have a wadkin 20" saw. bought it off ebay and did not notice that the bottom guide was missing! new ones are a bit pricey. :x

use screw tite screws. not the cheapest but all sizes are part threaded which stops jacking between the timbers perfect for construction. surprised no one has suggested them on this thread

hi, any body bought urethane bandsaw tyres from the states? i need a new tyre for my wadkin bzb 20" bandsaw carnt seem to find one for it? it says in the manual it has 20" wheels but that includes the thickness of the current tyre. if i order a urethane tyre from the states do i order 20"...

hi. anyone got a dewalt dcd 950 18v drill? mine has poor trigger control.its all or nothing. my older dw988 has fantastic trigger control, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me??? (homer)

yes the wheels are 20 inch diamiter.the motor is 950rpm. but you would of thought wadkin would know what they were doing when it comes to making woodwork machinery so it should be right???

hi just got hold of a new toy, wadkin bzb 20 bandsaw, its direct drive so only single speed 950 rmp. seems to be fast compared with other new bandsaws i have looked at? will this be any problem when i come to use it?

hi, i have the steppach hms 260 that does the same thing. its strange because had it 10 years and it ran on the 13amp fuse it was bought with for years with out ever blowing the fuse? but it has just recently started blowing the fuse when starting up can not work it out???

hi just got my first radial arm saw its a dewalt 1251 ive got to make a cutting table and fence.the manual says there is 3 parts to it but i don't understand it? can some one please post some pics or explain how to make it?

hi, i used 100mm smooth bore non perforated drainage pipe. the black 100mm plastic fittings fit perfectly snug no need to glue them in ! works a treat and much cheaper than metal ducting.don't buy plastic blast gates they are dung!!!!. and remember to use y junctions and not tees!

using resin is a pretty good idea.

christ!! if you carnt lay new concerete floor flat enough to stop your machines rockin its a sad look-out for the man laying it!!!
