Popular woodworking was running a series called "I can do that" which was easier weekend projects for the beginner, I quite liked the idea .

wow some excellent advice and ideas, even makes me want to have a go when you simplify it like that.

I have the Makita and think it is excellent I am no pro though and have nothing to compare it with.
