Dino, I seem to recall having a similar issue on a switch where some dust or chippings had got in the switch somehow, which when cleaned sorted it out. I can't quite remember though and I'm second guessing myself given that are maybe sealed to prevent ingress???? I'm pretty sure that CPC do...

Just a quick update for those interested. The ProEdge is being returned for a refund and I will buy a replacement locally. Poolewood were helpful but with only a few days left before going back to work, it should enable me to get up and running more speedily without waiting for couriers back...

With the assistance of PaulM earlier, we've discovered that the the frame is bent. I'll be giving Poolewood and or Sorby a call in the morning. Thank for all of the assistance.

If you have a sacrificial piece of wood on the face plate, perhaps you could screw a long wooden handle to it and then use this as a lever to loosen it.
