This Christmas break I had planned to try river table casting for the first time. Upon reading the tech data sheet of glasscast50 I discovered that temp and moisture are very important. My wood workshop is cold and damp at this time of year. As epoxy resin is so expensive I think I will leave...
Hi Jon,
drive out of Mold on the Mold Denbigh road, after you enter the 60mph zone you will pass a right hand turn to sychdyn, after that there will be an entrance to what was Gwasany hall on your right and then the next right will be into Gwasany Saw Mill. There is a gate on top of his slate...
Hi neil,
how long have you had your Triton and I'm guessing it's out of warranty?
I have just bought a Triton TRB001 and have been more than impressed with it.
I hope you are happy with your next purchase.
Cheers, Si
Hi Craig,
I agree about bolting it the wall, I have done the same thing when I have built a less than sturdy bench. Lets be honest though it must be more sturdy than workmates and old kitchen units.
I would be interested to know how you get on.

Hi all, I am after some advise if I may?
I have nearly finished my router table and would now like to start a new project with some nice wood.
I was wondering what a ball park figure for a cubic foot of timber is. I have a local saw mill that is open sometimes and I have managed to find him...
One of the reasons for my new router table build is to do safe dado cuts but the question came up on an American forum so I thought I would ask here.
Thanks for the replies.
Cheers,Si
That's looking really good and I'm looking forward to seeing the next installment of photo's.
Did you ever watch the series where Tommy Walsh built his ultimate workshop?
Thanks for taking the time post,
Cheers, Si
Hi guys,
years and years ago when I got my table saw I wanted to be able to cut dado's just like Norm does on NYW. I found some dado cutters in machine mart but they were not compatible with braked saw's. I found out that all saws in the Eu had to be braked so I was under the impression that no...

Thanks again,
Cheers, Si
Hi all,
for the past few years I have made do with a B+Q pro router and table, an Aldi and Argos router. Now I'm in the process of making a new table, I've bought a new router, Triton TRB001 with above table height adjustment and enough power to do anything I dream of.
With the router table...
Hi all ,
I've just seen the red wine stain resistant thread but didn't want to steal someones thread so I have posted my own, I hope you don't mind.
A friend of mine has seen the spalted beech goblet I made and has commisioned me to make a set of 4. He asked if it would be possible to use the...
Thanks very much for all the replies.
I will mention the replies to my local turning club as we have a sack of shavings every Friday and its always the same people who take them home for the binmen.
I am looking forward to finishing a project and offering it up for critique. At the moment I am...
Hi all,
I was clearing the workshop the other day and filled yet another bag of shavings. I had just weeded my fruit garden before going to the workshop and had just put down some bark mulch.
Bright idea, bark comes from trees and so do our turning shavings. Is there a problem with using our...
