Chestnut burr sanded to 400 grit and then coloured with red and yellow water based dyes and finished with Danish oil before giving it a buff. Measures 5 1/2" X 2 1/2"

Like the subtle colour shading on that one Derek, enhances without swamping the natural figuring.

Thank you guys I did dilute the dye quite thin which helped with this one
