After making the half track I needed to do something simple so I have just finished this bowl made from Chestnut burr and measures 9" X 4 1/2" Finished with a food safe oil/Mineral oil and then woodwax 22 paste and hand buffed.

Turned out great Derek, glad there wasn't a blue word moment during the base clean up.
Next challenge is to finish the next one with Friction polish. :lol:

123.....9 and 10 all present and correct just checked ready for the next one Chas :twisted: :wink:



Just to add to this for anyone who wants to attempt a piece like this, never attempt to sand of hand finish a piece like this with the lathe rotating. The answer I gave to CHJ was made in jest
