Zebrano sanding ?

When sanding zebrano is the dust any more harmfull than ash or elm ?

When i was turning some a few months back i found the dust gave me a very slight reaction. so i'd say take a little more care than usual but nothing to be overly concerned about. But as always have good ventilation/extraction and wear a dust mask.

It's a tropical wood, so likely to be a bit more dangerous. I have no specific reaction to it, other than from the stench!

Like Allen I'd be wary of any wood dust. You can develop an allergy fast. Also like Tom I am more wary of tropical woods though walnut apparently can be bad as can yew. Always wear some kind of mask at leas and if you can get some kind of dust extraction in.

I found Zebrano to be very dusty and gave me an headache.Even with the MK1 Airshield on.

Personally I have had no side effects from Zebrano despite suffering from mild asthma myself.
