Workshop stove problem

As you might expect the flue for the stove sticks out the back of the shop this seems to be causing a problem with the police helicopter which hovers noisily above for a couple of minutes from time to time, twice today actually i think they are looking for cannabis farms quite popular local paper is full of it.So far there has been no follow up so its just a nuisance difficult to no how to persuade them to stop.

Ring them up and report yourself (as an anonymous tip-off) for growing cannabis. Wait for the knock at the door, give them the tour. If they still persist, go to the local newspaper with stories of harassment Unless you are growing cannabis, in which case, probably don't

if they are looking at the flue - they are more likely to think you are running an illegal smeltdown (ie stealing beer barrels and melting them down for scrap) - or possibly they might conclude that you were making crystal meth.

chimneys and growing mary jane don't really go together.

assuming you aren't engaged in any of the above, your best bet would be to phone the local nick and explain your concern - its possible that they are just using your flue stack as a likely landmark.

More likely the neighbours are growing cannibs and your stove is just a coincidence. :?: :-s
