i was a cheap skate and looked around the carboot sales. got all i needed, and more for about £15, all i will do is add some welded mesh around the lights to stop the plank meets light problem that i allways seam to test fully, i find the airline recoiling into the holder to be the worst.
i all so use angle lighting around the drill, lathes, sharpening station, chopsaw and such likes

when wireing for switches i tend to wire one light to one switch, in your cse with 10+ lights i would wire 2 light per switch as i find it a pain in the butt when just popping in there for something, flick the light on and all come on.

if im popping in for just a smoke, i dont smoke in house, the 1 light on for me is fine.

thats just my way of things.

all the best.
Phil.
