I've always wanted to go to a David Stanley Auction in person, I'd imagine there would be a lot of interesting tools and people there.

I buy quite a bit at auction although not tools usually, you can of course bid online and have items shipped to you.

Remember that the online bidding carries an additional charge. Cheaper to leave a commission bid. (hammer)
As an avid attendee I cannot stress how much more than an auction this.
Think carboot, museum, social club, cafe, school and more 8)
I hate to miss it :wink:

Like Andy this event is quite close to me , so although I am unlikely to buy (I have enough tools) I will be going to look around and chat with the usual suspects that gather there.
Always something learned at was often is a good social gathering.
