[Archangel]

Just noticed a relatively new woodwork program being shown on US TV.
Based around the Woodsmith Magazine, the format looks quite different
from shows such as NYW and the homegrown shows often repeated on
Discovery Realtime.
I have downloaded several of the Woodsmith podcasts and very
informative and often entertaining they are for a beginner like myself. I
like the informal presentation where anybody from the audience can
ask questions pretty much at any point.
It would be great to see the TV show over here, but I guess that's not
likely.

from the shows.

What are the 'podcasts' you refer to please?

separate from but probably forerunners of the TV show.

I've downloaded all the woodsmith podcasts using ITunes (which does it automatically), another one which is just as good is http://thewoodwhisperer.com/

its a guy who satarted his own show from home in his garage and has made some excellent vids and has now got sponsership as a result.

Both sets of vids have been perfect for train trips into london to watch on my ipod
